Attorney David Griffin to Present to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

On March 29, 2024, AAML Fellow David Griffin will be co-presenting (with AAML Fellow Andrew Soshnick of Indianapolis) in a webinar format on the topic of “The Private Investment Spectrum in Divorce.” This fast-paced webinar will cover the entire range of private investments likely to be encountered by a family law attorney – from angel investors, to early-stage non-revenue companies, to mid-stage companies, to venture capital to private equity. The webinar will explore differing vehicles for private investments, from equity to complex equity to debt, to convertible debt to capital funding rounds, to “Fund” style investments. The webinar will enhance attendees’ knowledge of how to conduct discovery across the spectrum of private investment to creative ways in which these typically illiquid investments can be equitably divided.
